How to Delete Your Venner Account

Requesting Account Deletion via the App
You can request the deletion of your Venner account directly from the mobile app by following these steps:

1. Open the Venner app and log in to your account.
2. Navigate to Settings (accessible from the main menu).
3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account".
4. Review the information presented in the confirmation dialog, then tap "Delete My Account" to confirm.
5. Your deletion request will be submitted, and you will receive a confirmation email at your registered email address.
What Happens After You Submit a Deletion Request
Your account will be placed under review by our team.
You will be blocked from logging in while the review is in progress.
A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address.
The review process is typically completed within 30 days.
Cancelling a Deletion Request
If you change your mind after submitting a deletion request, you can cancel it by contacting our support team at [email protected] before the review is finalised.
Data That Will Be Deleted
Upon completion of the account deletion process, the following data associated with your account will be permanently deleted:

Personal information (name, date of birth, gender, nationality)
Contact details (email address, phone number)
Residential address
Identity documents and KYC data
Account and card information
Transaction history
Beneficiary and contact lists
Support ticket history
Device registration and authentication data
Data Retention
Certain data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion to comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations (e.g., anti-money laundering regulations). Any retained data will be securely stored and deleted once the retention period expires.
Request Account Deletion via Email
If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by sending an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Please include the email address associated with your Venner account so we can verify your identity.
